Alessandro Guidi @ IUPPS History of archaeology

Alessandro Guidi taught Methodology of Prehistoric Archaeology in Verona from 1992 to 2008 and Prehistoric and Protohistoric Archaeology at Roma Tre University from 2008 to 2023. He made surveys and excavations  in Central and Northern Italy protohistorical sites, wrote more than 400 publications (monographs, papers, review articles and articles for newspapers and periodicals), organized national and international  seminars and congresses. From 2018 to 2023 he was President of the IUPPS Commission on the History of Archaeology. Research interests
